Colony Flow Level 1 Overview

Level 1 is a three-layer pixel-art star. Orange tiles form its outside edge, yellow fills the middle band, and white makes the protected center. The tray starts with an orange block above yellow and white options, so the board is quietly teaching the most useful rule in Colony Flow: open a route before loading a color that cannot yet reach its tiles.

The objective is to clear every color without leaving all five waiting slots occupied by blocks that cannot make progress. The first orange block has a direct job on the lower-right border. That makes it the safe opener and gives the later colors a lane into the star.

Colony Flow Level 1 Step by Step Solution

Step 1: Use the exposed orange block to open the lower-right edge

Move the first orange block into a waiting slot and let it work before filling the tray. Its ants remove the accessible outer border and uncover the next layer of blocks. Wait until the orange number is visibly dropping; that confirms the first route is active.

Step 2: Start the yellow middle band after the first border gap appears

When yellow blocks are exposed, use the two available yellow blocks to work through the lower and side portions of the middle layer. They can travel through the orange opening, so they are productive rather than merely parked in the queue.

Step 3: Add white only after yellow has opened the center approach

The white core is small and enclosed. Put a white block into an open slot when yellow ants have created a clear middle lane. White should begin reducing quickly; if it does not, wait for more yellow progress instead of loading another white block.

Step 4: Reopen the left border with the next orange block

Use the next orange block to remove the left side of the star while yellow and white continue. This gives the remaining colors two approaches instead of forcing every ant through the same lower gap.

Step 5: Finish the upper middle before the top orange point

Clear the remaining white and yellow tiles when their routes are open, then play the final orange blocks for the top point. At this stage the board should be mostly hollow, so every remaining color has a visible destination.

Tips and Strategy for Colony Flow Level 1

Read this star from outside to inside: orange is the gate, yellow is the bridge, and white is the core. A block does not need to finish before another color starts, but every active block should have a route that is already open.

Common Mistake or Recovery Checkpoint

Loading white before the middle yellow tiles clear is the common stall. If a white block is sitting still, do not add more inner colors. Reset, reopen the orange edge, and wait until yellow ants have exposed the center lane. Keep one empty slot whenever the next tray layer is still hidden.

Quick FAQ

Why is orange the first move?

Orange is the only exposed block with reachable tiles on the outside of the star. It turns the border into a path for every later color.

Can yellow and white run together?

Yes, once the yellow route has reached the middle. Use the white block only after the center approach is visibly open.
